ENDURANCE

For the arabian horse, stamina has always been its mayor trait, and this shows very clearly in endurance. No other breed can truly compete with the arabian horse in endurance, although it is now more than a hundred years away from its desert origin. Even when bred for the showring, the racetrack or just for pleasure riding, the arabian horse excels in endurance.

At Onsala Arabians we are dedicated to preserve these original traits of the arabian horse.

In the years 2008 -2010 we sponsored the ONSALA ARABIANS ENDURANCE CUP. A series of endurance races in Sweden with a total purse of more than Euro 3000.

In 2008 Onsala Arabians was named Swedish Arabian Sport Horse Breeders of the Year.

TIZCA (Wadim PL – Tryzcia) is in training with Anneli Schultz, a succesful rider over the past 14 years, with several International victorys over 120 & 160 kilometers and Best Condition awards. Anneli has also won a European Championships Bronze Medal (Team) and two Swedish National Championship Gold Medals and several District Gold medals, latest Gold Medal was together with TIZCA, at the Billinge District Championships in 2011.

ZSIWA (Wadim PL – Zula PL) is in training with Frida Söderström and is one of our 2012 World Endurance Championships Contenders. ZSIWA and Frida completed their first qualifying ride in Germany of 120 kilometers.
Frida is a young upcoming rider already with a lot of experience, she has worked for an endurance trainer in France and she won a Gold Medal (Team) at the 2007 Nordic & Baltic Championships.

ERALDY (Vivaldi Rach BR – Erudycja PL) is in training with Dr Vet Gianmarco Aragno in Italy. Dr Vet Aragno is a world renowned International judge, veterinary and a breeder of arabians and other horses. Eraldy has completed his first qualifying ride of 120 kilometers with a total 10th placing in the competition, for the upcoming World Endurance Championships 2012 in England.
