Portmer is the only son of Saudi Arabia-born stallion AMER at stud in northern Europe. Amer is a sire of winners of over 70 races and numerous International Stakes winners including several of the best arabian race horses in the 21st century: MUTABAHI, DAHESS, AL ANOOD, NIZAM and many more.
Portmer raced 16 times (6-3-3) among his wins are The Arabian Derby, over 2400 m DT.
Portmer also raced in Malazgirt Trophy in Istanbul and was 2nd to the great DAHESS in UNIRE in Grosetto, Italy.
