Our Farm

Onsala Arabians is one of the largest Arabian Horse Farms in Scandinavia. At present we have some 50 horses at our farm in Onsala, just south of Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast.

The farm was founded in 1986 and since then we have been honoured with a multitude of winners in the showring, on the racetrack and in endurance.
In 2004 we where named Breeder of the Year in Scandinavian Arabian Racing
In 2008 we where named Swedish Arabian Sport Horse Breeder of the Year

At the farm we have created facilities that allow us to breed and train for both show and racing. Large pastures with open waters where herds up to 30 horses can live a natural life.
Due to the sometimes harsh Nordic climate, we have an indoor paddock in the mare stable so that newborn foals can be let out with their dams even at extreme weather conditions.
Indoor Arena, turf racetrack, covered walker and an approved AI facility completes our farm.

We want horses to be horses. And we aim at keeping medication to a minimum.
We work closely with Horse Homeopathy experts Hans & Elisabeth Söderström at Homeopathuset.
